I do not stand in the gap for Dr Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan. I will not also be the one to run down the former commissioner for works, Solomon Funkekeme but there's an exception to every rule.
I have read Funkekeme alarm that Uduaghan is planning to use military and militants to rig the election this week Saturday against the PDP.
Let's be frank
The worst person on surface earth is the man who turns his back against his former boss to please a new boss. Funkekeme is the worst of such creatures.
One of the major reason Uduaghan was not a success in government is because of Solomon. As the commissioner for works, he was the second engine room of the government after SSG Ovuzuorie Macaulay. He ran the show. He was called the dollar man because he was always collecting kickbacks in dollars. This led to contractors abandoning jobs in the state which led to the demonizing of Uduaghan's government.
I remember vividly in 2015 during the campaign, Funkekeme called me, pleaded with me to sheath my sword against Uduaghan and name my prize. He assured me that Uduaghan can never harm a fly, hence I'm safe if I come to Asaba or name a location in Lagos or Abuja. If I named $500,000 then as a price, I would have gotten it. The money was there. The state was flowing with money and the then government would have given me. I refused to go see Uduaghan for reasons best known to me.
When did Uduaghan who cannot hurt a fly as testified by Funkekeme to me suddenly become violent that he can recruit militants to kill Deltans all for an election that he's not a direct beneficiary? If he could not use the military and militants to rig his own elections, why does Funkekeme believe that he will use so for an election which he's not an aspirant?

Okowa should beware of men like Funkekeme who has no iota of loyalty to him. If he can accuse his former boss, known to be a man of peace, he will soon accuse Okowa of tribalism and sponsoring militants to rig in his choice when he leaves power in 2023.
Solomon Funkekeme knows that no amount of soldiers deployed can stop Okowa's reelection. He knows that no number of militants can be a barrier to Okowa coming back. Why raise alarm to make him seen to be working?
He's the worst campaign DG I have ever seen, without style, classless, no oratory speech, no motivational drive and worst of all, a miserable miser which is the number one political sin of a politician.
One of the first casualty of political appointment denial should be Funkekeme when Okowa wins but sadly enough, he's the campaign DG and must be rewarded with appointment. That's how our political system keeps recycling Judases like him.
If there are two persons who must never be seen talking bad, worst of all lies against Uduaghan, they should be Macaulay and Funkekeme. Macaulay understands this, hence when an appointee of Gov. Okowa quoted him against Uduaghan, he quickly denied it. He knows that political differences is not tantamount to denial of absolute loyalty. Funkekeme is none of this. He's worse that the vomit of a pregnant woman, filthy than the loads of a mad man and deadlier in character than the fangs of a mamba. Such men should be dreaded and driven to the Broadway of hell before they cause more harm to humanity.
Uduaghan is not the cause of Funkekeme current poverty state of pocket and mind. He's not the cause of his love for women that has wrecked him. The former governor is not the cause of him unable to switch on his generator in the afternoon which has resulted him to using hand fan because heat is almost killing him. Uduaghan is not the cause of him unable to pay N500,000 for slayqueen spending the weekend as it was in Uduaghan's era. It's his inability to manage the stolen wealth of Delta State that has made him broke. The Bible rightly said that the wealth gotten wrongly shall wash away and his own is a manifestation of the divine message. Why then should he channel his frustrations on Uduaghan who has ran election, won some and lost now? He should leave Uduaghan alone.
Granted that Okowa and Uduaghan are in different political campaign but from what I know, Uduaghan will in his closet support Okowa 247. Take this to the bank.
Okowa's victory does not need the sycophantic verbose of Funkekeme. What he needs is him winning his polling unit, ward and local government. Anything short of this is political murder.
I can only leave my benefactor when he tests my loyalty and takes it for granted but will never be seen castigating him during his high or low moment, irrespective of our political differences. May God raise men against me the very day I turn round to accuse falsely the shoulder through which climb. May this same prayer extend to men and women in Okowa's government currently benefitting from him but will turn round against him when he leaves power.
