Okowa's Principal Secretary Deceives Supporters with Fake Promises

The Principal Secretary to the Governor of Delta State, Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem has jettisoned some social media assistants of the Delta State government, whom he promised car gifts at Asaba some weeks again.

Hilary made the promise during a get together hosted by one of his Aides, Elvis Akpobi Majority on the 24th of March, 2019 at the Asaba Squash Club.

The Principal Secretary, who enjoys showmanship to receive kudos and encomium, told one of the social media handlers who was involved in a minor "Keke" accident, Kevwe Faith Potokri "you got injured because you entered a Keke. You will no longer enter keke again. I will provide a car for you tomorrow".

This wowed the gathering of the young social media assistants, who were trailed by the pronouncement. Hilary, however, has only started. He turned to another media assistant and poured out another electrifying promise, "MC Glen O. Arigi just as Stephanie told the story of Success Adegor, you told the story of Kevwe Faith Potokri. Therefore, I will also get a car for you tomorrow".

Hilary stole the show with these promises and as expected, the kudos started pouring in. He was addressed as a Prophet instead of the usual lion he is called by his supporters.

About 4 weeks later, the trailing promises of the Principal Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, have turned fake as the two recipients and all the young media practitioners that were present at the event have exhausted their patience in waiting for that tomorrow that has refused to come.

Speaking to one of our reporters, one of the Media members present at the event, who will not want his name mentioned said, "it would have been better for Hilary to buy a phone if that is what he can afford than to make a fool of us all that were present at the event. We like him as a boss and we are always fond of him, however, making promises that cannot be kept is making him to loose respect in our sights.

"Since he made the promises, we have been waiting eagerly to see the vehicles. We celebrated with our colleagues because we have faith in our boss, Hilary Obi Ibegbulem, who we fondly address as the 'lion'. But I must tell you the truth, alot of Media persons that were present at the event are not pleased. We are currently thinking otherwise", he stated.
