The Nigerian Police Force has said that it has apprehended two Officers attached to the Lagos State Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS in connection with the gruesome murder of Kolade Johnson.
In a statement made on its official Twitter account and obtained by Citizens Court, the Police gave the names of the arrested suspect to be Inspector Ogunyemi Olalekan and Sergeant Godwin Orji.
The Police also said that the suspects will be "subjected to internal disciplinary procedures."
The statement reads: "The men suspected to have carried out the shooting of Kolade Johnson have been apprehended and subjected to internal disciplinary procedures. The CP has revealed their names as (1) Insp Ogunyemi Olalekan and
(2) Sgt Godwin Orji attached to Anti Cultism Squad".

Kolade Johnson was killed last Sunday after being hit by a stray bullet fired by police officers attached to Anti Cultism Squad in Lagos.
The killing has caused an outrage and wide condemnation across the country. Human Rights Defenders, activists and angry Nigerians have promised to protest against Police Brutality in the streets of Lagos, Ibadan and Abuja on Friday 4th April, 2019, by 9am.
On the social media, particularly Twitter the #JusticeForKolade, #EndSARS, #EndPolicebrutality, and #ReformSARS campaign has gained prominence and trending.
President Muhammadu Buhari, has in a statement, condemned the unfortunate killing of Kolade Johnson by men of the Nigerian Police Force and promised to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice.
The President also warned against future brutality of police officers against the citizens of Nigeria. He said, “Government will not tolerate in any way the brutalization of Nigerians or the violation of their rights. Any officer of the law enforcement agencies or any other government functionary caught in this act will certainly be visited with the full weight of the law.”
The general public do not just await the prosecution of Kolade's Killers but a complete overhaul of the Nigerian Police Force, which has turned a nightmare to innocent and ordinary Nigerians.
