| Hon. Joel-Onowakpo Thomas |
Joel-Onowakpo said this today while hosting the APC family in Isoko nation in his country home at Emede. While appreciating the mammoth crowd of APC faithfuls, members of his campaign team and Ithikikpebe Campaign Organisation that graced the occasion for their steadfastness and commitment before, during and after the electioneering period, Joel-Onowakpo expressed his continuous dedication towards progressive ideals, noting that he is not unmindful of the pains and humiliation that all APC members are facing for supporting his cause for a better Isoko nation.
He admonished all his supporters and members of APC to put their hopes and trust in God, knowing that Him alone has the capacity to reward mankind and fulfill all human aspirations and desires.
“There is need for me to appreciate all of you for your steadfastness in APC despite oppressive tendencies from the opposition and for standing by me before, during and after the general election. Though my mandate was stolen, our hopes should be in God, believing that He will accomplish His will for us. I have come to the APC to stay because it is a home and by God’s grace we shall all celebrate as family in due season. I have nothing to regret, so I encourage you all to remain committed to the struggle to speed up Isoko development”, Joel-Onowakpo said.
Present at the meeting were leaders of APC and prominent sons and daughters of Isoko nation, among whom are Chief Lucky Esigie, Chief John Araka, Hon. Silas Buowe, Elder Emmanuel Adoluaji, Dcn Isaac Osiobe, Prof. Emumena Akama, Dr. Prosper Awhoregba, Chief Andy Ejeje, Hon. Lucky Arumare, Hon. Emakpor Odogu, Andrew Egunoma, Endurance Edafewotu and others too numerous to mention.
